Welcome to the Sir George

The Sir George is Australia’s oldest owned Family Inn owned by the Holm/Sheahan family since 1845.

Situated in Jugiong, an attractive Murrumbidgee River Village just off the Hume Highway and half way between Sydney and Melbourne, the Sir George has a cosy and intimate atmosphere that compliments the traditional ambience of this historic building.

The Hotel offers a range of beautiful locally produced craft beers, proudly brewed by Canberra’s Christophe Zierholz from Zierholz brewery in Fyshwick ACT.
