Role Overview:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Venue Manager and Wedding Coordinator to join our team. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who thrives in high-energy environments, leads with confidence from the floor, and has a keen eye for detail. It’s a long-term opportunity for someone looking to grow with us and become a key part of our venue’s future.This role sits under the Head of Sales, who oversees venue product, pricing and packaging, event & site scheduling, business development and contract management across the business.
The Head of Sales retains ownership of corporate and social events, as well as the overall strategic direction and commercial performance of the venue’s event offering.(Only accepting candidates who reside in Australia.) Key Responsibilities
Weddings- large scale and micro (Primary Focus- seasonal)
Lead the delivery of large-scale and micro weddings, acting as the key onsite contact for contracted wedding clients
Work under the direction of the Head of Sales, and in collaboration with the operations team, to deliver weddings aligned with venue standards, product offerings, and commercial strategy
Conduct site inspections with professionalism, warmth, and brand consistency
Liaise with couples to finalise event details using structured in-house event templates and systems
Produce detailed wedding run sheets and coordinate all operational elements
Lead wedding execution from setup to close in partnership with the operations team
Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager to ensure seamless service delivery
Uphold and enhance the venue’s brand identity across all weddings and celebrations
Manage event inventory relevant to weddings and continuously refine execution processes
Mentor and train staff to deliver high-standard, detail-driven wedding service
Venue Management
Support the driving of the venue and wedding product, ensuring consistency between sales strategy and on-the-floor delivery
Provide operational feedback to the Head of Sales to assist with continuous product improvement
Oversee daily FOH operations in collaboration with fellow Venue Managers and the General Manager
Co-manage bookings via SevenRooms, ensuring flow, pacing, and guest experience excellence
Champion a culture of hospitality, accountability, and teamwork in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
About You
Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality.
A genuine passion for weddings OR events
Exceptional attention to detail and guest care.
Excellent personal presentation and communication skills.
Confident in fast-paced settings with clear communication and poise.
Familiarity with restaurant systems like SevenRooms and POS software is preferred but not essential
Available weekends, evenings, and peak periods.
RSA certification is essential.
Must have unrestricted rights to work in Australia

You will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation within our accommodation establishments. You will be responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are impeccably clean and well-maintained, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities:
Thoroughly clean guest rooms according to The Sir George's standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.
Replenish amenities, linens, and towels as needed.
Report any maintenance issues or damage to your manager
Ensure all public areas are presentable and welcoming for guests.
Ensure clean linens are stocked and available for housekeeping use.
Work with a fun and energetic team in the picturesque town of Jugiong. Flexible hours and days with attractive renumeration is available for the right person.

The Sir George is looking for enthusiastic Bar Staff to join our team! You'll get to know our extensive wine list and specialty cocktails while providing a good chin wag and a dose of genuine country hospitality.
Respnsibilities:
Previous bar or hospitality experience preferred but not essential – a great attitude and willingness to learn are what we value most!
Craft and serve a variety of beverages, from classic cocktails to local beers on tap.
Greet guests with a warm smile and engage in friendly conversation to create a welcoming atmosphere.
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked, ensuring everything runs smoothly during service.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay cool under pressure.
Work collaboratively with fellow bar staff and kitchen crew to provide seamless service.
