There’s something special about an autumn day in Jugiong. Crisp mornings, golden sunshine, coffee in hand and a slow wander around the grounds at The Sir George with friends and family.

Our Autumn Markets welcomed a wonderful mix of locals, road trippers and weekend visitors, all coming together for a relaxed day of good food, great company and supporting small businesses.

Conveniently located just off the Hume Highway, The Sir George has become a favourite stop for road trips and weekends away alike. Time your trip with one of our seasonal markets and it quickly becomes part of the journey, not just a stop along the way.

We hold four markets each year and have been growing them since 2023, with every season bringing together an incredible line-up of local makers, growers and creatives.

This year’s autumn market featured everything from handmade ceramics and jewellery to sustainable fashion, fresh flowers, local wines and spirits, honey and plenty of tasty cakes and sweet treats. The kind of stalls you can happily spend hours wandering through.

Guests grabbed a coffee from the café before browsing the markets scattered throughout the grounds, eventually finding a sunny spot beneath the trees for lunch and a glass of something refreshing.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and to all of our wonderful stallholders who made the day what it was.
