The Sir George will be temporarily closed from Monday 11th May to Sunday 17th May, while we carry out renovations on the property.

The Sir George has been hosting guests for over 175 years and now it’s time to prepare for the next chapter.

From Monday 11th May to Sunday 17th May, the venue will be closed to the public as we begin an exciting kitchen renovation, along with some fresh updates across the property.

When we reopen on Monday 18th May, we’ll be operating from a temporary kitchen while works continue over the following weeks. During this time, you can still join us for a relaxed country meal, with a reduced menu featuring your favourites.
